Practical help for vehicle electrical diagnostics

Advanced vehicle electrical diagnosis for warning lights, intermittent faults, module communication problems and electrical behaviour that needs evidence-based fault finding.

Tell us your vehicle make and model and what you need help with. We will review the request, confirm the practical scope and discuss the next step before work is agreed.

01

When to get in touch

  • Multiple dashboard warning lights or messages appearing together
  • Intermittent electrical behaviour that disappears after restarting
  • Battery drain, slow starting or unexplained low-voltage events
  • A feature or module that stops communicating or operates unpredictably
  • Electrical faults that remain after a component has already been replaced
  • A scan result that needs testing and interpretation rather than guesswork
02

What we may check

  • Vehicle-wide diagnostic scan where appropriate and review of stored, pending or historic faults
  • Battery condition, supply voltage and basic charging behaviour where low voltage may be relevant
  • Live data, module communication and command tests supported by the vehicle
  • Visual inspection of accessible wiring, connectors, earth points and signs of damage or moisture
  • Circuit measurements such as voltage, resistance or voltage drop where they are technically appropriate
  • Comparison of the customer symptom with fault-code context and measured system behaviour
03

Possible next steps

  • A confirmed circuit, supply or connection issue with a repair route
  • Evidence pointing toward a component or module that needs further testing or replacement
  • A low-voltage or battery-related cause affecting multiple systems
  • A fault that cannot be reproduced during the visit, with documented next steps
  • Confirmation that stored faults are historic or secondary rather than the primary complaint
04

Before your visit

  • Note the exact wording of warning messages and whether they are red, amber or temporary
  • Tell us whether the problem occurs cold, hot, while driving, after rain or after the car has stood
  • List any recent battery work, jump starting, repairs, accessory fitting or accident damage
  • Bring all available keys if the issue involves access, immobiliser or starting behaviour
  • Attach a photo of the dashboard message if it is safe and useful
Help us choose the right first check

Photograph the exact warning message and tell us whether it appears at startup, while driving or after rain. A stored fault code can guide testing but does not identify a failed part by itself.

Ready to get started?

Send us the details of your vehicle.

Include the registration, a short description and a photo of the issue if it helps. An online request is reviewed by the workshop before an appointment is confirmed.
